Mechanism of action of the Excel V Laser

During the treatment, the Excel V generates targeted light pulses in the range of 532 nm and 1064 nm, which are delivered to the skin area to be treated. The wavelengths of the laser pulses of the Excel V are mainly generated by the chromophores, or to put it simply, the color carriers of the skin and in particular by brown and red tones and melanin (can convert light into heat in the skin and is responsible for the dark coloring of the skin). , oxyhemoglobin (component of blood) and water, absorbed.

Put simply, this means that the red blood pigment, hemoglobin, is heated by the Excel V laser so that the blood clumps/coagulates and, as a direct result, can be broken down by the body in a short time.
